Flashback - National Parks trips
Over the past several years, many of our vacations have been with my parents, brothers, and their families. Of those, many have been to National Parks, and the surrounding areas. Here is a brief glimpse of some of those trips.
May 2009 - Petrified Forest, Grand Canyon, Arches
This was a whirlwind trip with several sites to see, as well as visiting family in Arizona. We briefly stopped at Petrified Forest on the way there. The trip included a couple days in Las Vegas, from which we flew to the Grand Canyon Skywalk. On the way back, we spent a morning in Arches.
May 2011 - Smokey Mountains
We stayed in a wonderful cabin near Gatlinburg, TN on this trip. Most days included day hikes in Great Smokey Mountains NP.
June 2015 - Rocky Mountain
Once again, we had a great cabin, this time just a bit south of Estes Park. The entire trip centered around exploring Rocky Mountain NP and the surrounding area.
