Propane Fire Pits for Camping - Why we use one
I will be the first to admit that I questioned the idea to get a propane fire pit. At the time we purchased it, I couldn’t see a need to spend money on something when we could get the same effect practically for free. I was wrong…
Stockton State Park | Stockton Lake - Missouri
There are times when life’s everyday tasks can begin to wear on a person. I think that dealing with COVID just magnifies the issue. Tammy and I had both reached that point toward the end of August 2020, and decided to take this trip to Stockton State Park as an opportunity to recharge…
Teardrop Camping in the Rain - Lost Bridge South Campground - Garfield, AR

Crabtree Cove Campground - Stockton, MO
We took a weekend trip in late June and headed down to the Crabtree Cove campground on Stockton Lake. This was also the first time that we had camped at this lake in a campground other than Hawker Point.
Weekend trip to Indian Creek Campground - Garfield, AR
Indian Creek Campground is probably one of our favorites on Beaver Lake. We have stayed here twice now, and both times has been an enjoyable experience. The park only has 33 sites, so it stays pretty quiet. On this trip, we were in site #24, and on the previous trip, we were in #23.
Finding Dispersed Campsites in SE Missouri | Mark Twain National Forest & Ozark Scenic Riverway

Boondocking trip to Schell-Osage Conservation Area
We took a weekend trip to test out some recent purchases to better equip us for boondocking. Most things went well, other than it was not the greatest campground we have stayed at, and the bugs ended up chasing us home early.
Installing a Propane Quick Connect on our T@g
We recently purchased a propane fire pit, and to make it easier to setup and use, we decided to install a propane quick connect on the back of our T@g. The process was actually pretty easy, and we have enjoyed being able to quickly plug the fire pit into the trailer.
First time Boondocking - Louisburg Middle Creek State Fishing Lake
Since most campgrounds are currently closed, we decided to try a new one we found in Kansas. However, since there are no hookups, we had to try our hand at boondocking.
T@g Air Conditioning Mods - Dual Exhaust Fans and Duct Fix
Prompted by the disappointing performance of out T@g air conditioner, I decided to upgrade to a dual exhaust fan setup, hoping that will solve the issue. In the process, I also found a flaw in the design of the exhaust ductwork. While the air conditioner was removed, I upgraded the tape around the duct as well.
Landahl Park - Jackson Co., MO
I stepped out of my comfort zone to go mountain biking at Landahl Park, here in Jackson Co., MO.

We took advantage of an unseasonably warm day in February to check out the George Owens Nature Park. This park was recommended to us by a friend, and we had never hiked there, even though we live relatively close.
